Gosh, sounds like you don't have enough to deal with, lol. Severe pain and the prospect of major surgery is simply not what any of us needs in our lives. We get through these somehow with our survival instincts and those steadfast companions and caregivers who manage to accompany us. It's not easy for anyone involved.
